New Year, New Knits

I hope all of you had a wonderful New Year’s!  I spent my holiday with my fiance & friends snowboarding in Park City.  Now that we’re back home, back to work, and back to the realities of life, it felt like as great a time as any to work on my knitting goals for 2016.

I still have a few commission pieces I need to work on, so those are first on the list to finish:
Knit Now Winter Issue – Waverly – a open front cardigan worked in Sublime’s Extra Fine Merino Wool in Julep
Holla Knits – Ancon, Camden, and Bale – Remember that design contest I had you all vote for a few months ago?  I’ve been working on knitting up the samples, and Ancon is about 85% complete, and Bale is 25% complete.  I’m hoping to get started on Camden real soon!

On our flight to Park City, I made a very simple pair of fingerless mitts, and very quickly was requested to make some for the other girls on the trip.  So expect to see a few more mitts come out of me in the next few weeks!  Check out the one I made on the plane up above!
