Bale – Coatigan

And last but not least we have Bale, the coziest garment I think I have ever made.  It’s a two-tone coatigan worked in a mix of garter stitch and moss stitch.  The front openings are trimmed in a neat band of 1×1 rib to keep the lines of the design clean.

The featured sample is worked with Berocco Ultra Alpaca Chunky on size 9 needles, so it’s a pretty quick knit.  Aside from shaping on the sleeves, the instructions are pretty straight forward.

Try knitting with one color for a monochromatic look, or go fun with bright colors, the options are endless.
