Latte | Textured V-Neck Cardigan

$10.00

Design Information

Latte is a hip-length cardigan featuring an allover texture stitch pattern and generous oversized pockets. The front, back, and sleeves are all worked in pieces from the bottom up, and seamed. Finally, the vertical button band is knitted onto the neck opening.

The sample is knit with Camellia Fiber Company’s Yak DK. The blend of merino, yak, and silk fibers create a knitting experience like no other. The yarn is soft, holds stitch definition well, and the colors seem to glow from within.

The fiber blend and fit of the cardigan make it great for three-season wear. You’ll find you’ll find yourself wearing it over jeans and a tee on your way to school drop off or errands, but it pairs just as perfectly over tailored pants and feminine tops for work.

The modern drop shoulder fit and oversized silhouette are comfortable and let you move easily throughout your day. Whatever color you choose, Latte will be a thoughtful addition to your everyday handmade wardrobe.

Yarn

Camellia Fiber Company Yak DK - DK weight; 65% Merino Wool, 20% Silk, and 15% Yak; 230 yards (210 meters) / 100g (3.5 oz); (5, 6, 7) [7, 8, 9] (9, 10, 11) [11, 12, 13] skeins, photographed in Coffee.

Or ~ (1205, 1325, 1459) [1631, 1775, 1905] (2057, 2194, 2378) [2535, 2737, 2904] yards of a DK/heavy sport merino blend yarn.

Note: While it feels luxurious, the yak content is not required when looking for suitable alternatives. Though I would recommend choosing a merino/silk for the same sheen and stitch definition of the sample, any merino base will provide a similar look and feel.
